Terms and Conditions.

Please take the time to read these terms and conditions carefully there will be a 24-hour cooling off period starting from the date and time the booking was made by you. Should you wish to withdraw from your chosen appointment or course during this 24-hour cooling off period there will be no penalty and the booking fee will be refunded to the original funding source.   The responsibility of withdrawing is with you the client/delegate and needs to be put in writing to enquiries@thenorthernbeauty.co.uk After this period the following terms and conditions as set out below become active and binding.  1.1 In these terms and conditions “we”, “our”, and “us” refer to The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd and “you” and “your” refers to the delegate purchasing a The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd training course. 

2.Booking your training course.

 2.1 The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd reserves the right to decline admission to any of its training courses.    

2.2 The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd reserves the right to cancel or change planned training courses in terms of dates, locations, and course content. You will be notified at least 24 hours in advance of any planned changes and a full refund given in the event of The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd cancelling or should you be unable to attend due to any changes, we make.    

2.3 Irrespective of circumstances, The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd accepts no liability for any loss of earnings or expenses incurred by you or any models.   

3.PAYING FOR YOUR TRAINING COURSE.

3.1 You may pay for your training course in one of two following ways:    

3.2 Paying booking fee – you are required to pay a 50% non-refundable/non transferrable booking fee for your place, prior to attending your training. Once this is paid on www.thenorthernbeauty.co.uk you will instantly receive a confirmation email from the booking system to confirm your place is secure. 

3.2.1 Payment Plan – you are required to pay a 20% low booking fee of the course total excl kit (except for the Ultimate Lash course where the 20% low booking fee is the total amount which includes kits) in order to secure your place on a course date. An email confirmation, confirming your place will be sent within 24 working hours of us receiving your booking fee. The booking fee must be paid using link  https://bit.ly/3tS9fXQ the outstanding balance will then be paid using GoCardless direct debit payments 

3.2.2 Finance Option – you are required to pay a 20% low booking fee of the course total in order to secure your place on a course date. An email confirmation, confirming your place will be sent within 24 working hours of us receiving your booking fee. The booking fee must be paid using link https://bit.ly/3tSVSGL the outstanding balance will then be paid using a finance option. 

3.3 Your course balance must be paid on the day of your training prior to beginning your chosen course. Failure to do so will result in you being unable to proceed onto your course, re-listed for sale and any payment already made may be forfeited in line with our cancellation procedure.

4.CANCELLING YOUR TRAINING COURSE BOOKING

4.1 Should you wish to cancel your booking, the following terms and conditions apply:   

4.1.1 All cancellations must be made in writing to enquries@thenorthernbeauty.co.uk  and will result in the student losing their non-refundable/non transferrable booking fee.  

4.1.2 Where a course has been booked using a low booking fee any remaining booking fee balance will be due on cancellation, this will be taken using the original payment method for the low booking fee. The full booking fee amount is 50% of the total course fee. 

4.1.3 Cancellations under 48 hours will also incur a £50 admin fee  as well as the booking fee, this is due to expenses paid out by the company such as educators wages, venue hire, stock and equipment orders to name just a few. We apply these fees because the closer it gets to the course date, the harder it is to fill delegate spaces. This will be taken using the original payment method made for the booking fee.   

4.1.4 Delegates may choose to independently arrange insurance to provide indemnity against possible cancellation. The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd do not provide any cancellation insurance, but are aware of Cancel sure Insurance, a company which specialises in insurance for training course cancellations (please be aware this does not constitute a recommendation and The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd cannot accept any liability for any insurance policy you choose to buy).    

4.1.5 The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd does not issue refunds for Acts of God.    

· An Act of God is defined as an event outside of human control such as sudden floods, earthquakes, or other natural disasters, for which no one can be held responsible.    

· This also includes weather-related issues such as snow, ice, floods etc.    

· If The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd deem it to be necessary to cancel a course due to an Act of God then it is not liable for any loss resulting to the customer or the models as a result of this cancelled course.    

· The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd will make all reasonable effort to replace a cancelled course by arranging an alternative date but this cannot be guaranteed. Where the majority of customers for that course have been affected, this will be made free of additional charge.   

4.1.6 If the course is cancelled as a result of government restrictions in relation to COVID-19, the booking fee will be transferred to another date.   

4.1.7 In the event that the delegate does not inform us that they will not be attending the training course, they will be charged the remaining course balance including any kits that are required for the course using the original payment method used for the booking fee. 

5. Model Patch Tests

5.1 If your course requires you to have a model, the model will need to have a patch test at least 48 hours prior to the course date. This will also allow enough time to find another model in the event of an allergic reaction. 

5.2 Where the course is for brow treatments or a lash lift, the patch test will be sent to the model’s home address with instructions on how to perform the patch test. 

5.3 Where the course is for lash extensions, the model will need to come to the salon for a patch test to be performed by a member of staff as lash extensions need to be applied to the natural lashes using the lashes and glue that will be used during the course. 



6. Booking your Treatment Appointment

6.1 The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd reserves the right to decline admission to any of its treatment appointments.    

6.2 The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd reserves the right to cancel or change appointments planned in terms of dates, locations, and price. You will be notified at least 24 hours in advance of any planned changes and a full refund given in the event of The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd cancelling or should you be unable to attend due to any changes, we make.    

6.3 Irrespective of circumstances, The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd accepts no liability for any loss of earnings or expenses incurred by you. 


7.Paying for your Appointment.

 7.1 You may pay for your appointment in one of the two following ways:
7.2 Paying booking fee – you are required to pay a 50% non-refundable booking fee for your treatment, prior to attending your appointment. Once this is paid on www.thenorthernbeauty.co.uk you will instantly receive a confirmation email from the booking system to confirm your place is secure. 

7.3 Paying in full at time of booking – once this is paid on www.thenorthernbeauty.co.uk you will instantly receive a confirmation email from the booking system to confirm your place is secure. 

7.4 Your balance must be paid on the day of your appointment by either cash, bank transfer or card. If you do not bring a payment method with you, the system will automatically use the original payment method that was used for the booking fee. 

8.Cancelling or amending your appointment

  We understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to change your arrangements.  

Please see below our Terms & Conditions for how we handle cancellations and amendments, these rules also apply to sickness and positive COVID-19.    

8.1 Should you wish to cancel your appointment, the following terms and conditions  

apply:   

8.1.1 All cancellations must be made in writing to enquries@thenorthernbeauty.co.uk and will result in the client losing their non-refundable booking fee if outside the 24-hour cooling off period. If full payment is made at the time of booking, the difference between the full payment and non-refundable booking fee will be refunded to the original payment method. This will be actioned within 48 hours and can take square 2-7 working days to process the refund into your bank account. 

8.1.2 If you do not attend your appointment and haven’t informed us that you will not be attending your appointment, you will be charged the remaining appointment balance using the original payment method used for the booking fee.   

8.1.3 The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd does not issue refunds for Acts of God.

8.1.4 If the appointment is cancelled as a result of government restrictions in relation to COVID-19, the booking fee will be transferred to another date.  

8.1.5 If you wish to amend your appointment, it can be amended ONCE and this must be done at least 48 hours prior to your appointment otherwise the original booking fee will be lost and a new non-refundable booking fee will need to be applied for the new appointment date. Amendments can either be made on the booking system or in writing to enquiries@thenorthernbeauty.co.uk 

8.1.6 If you are less than 15 minutes late for an eyelash appointment and have informed us, the appointment will still end at the scheduled time meaning you will not have as much lash time so will not be as full. 

8.1.7 If you are more than 15 minutes late for an eyelash appointment, the appointment will NOT go ahead and you will be charged the remaining appointment balance using the original payment method. 

8.1.8 If you are more than 10 minutes late for any other treatment, the appointment will NOT go ahead and you will be charged the remaining appointment balance using the original payment method. 

9. Patch Tests

9.1 Please ensure you obtain a patch test at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, in the event that you do not have a patch test you will be refused treatment and the booking fee will be lost. 

9.2 When choosing your treatment, it will state on the description if you require a patch test. If you are an existing customer but haven’t had this treatment for at least 12 months, you will require another patch test before the treatment can be carried out again. If you are a new customer to The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd and have had this treatment previously elsewhere, you will still require a patch test to ensure you do not have an allergy to the products we use. 

9.3 In the event of an allergic reaction occurring as a result of the patch test, the 50% booking fee will be refunded to the original payment source or transferable to another treatment providing the patch test was done at least 48 hours prior to the booked appointment. Evidence of an allergic reaction will need to be provided. 

10. Prescription Fee 

10.1 If you are having one of the below treatments, please be aware that the cost for your prescription is INCLUDED in the price of the treatment. 

  • B12 Vitamin Shot 
  • Anti-Wrinkle Injection

12. Data Protection    

12.1 In booking a training course with The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd, you agree to us using any data, you submit in order to process your order and for future marketing purposes by The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd.    

12.1.1 Your details will not be transferred to any third party without your written consent.     

13.Complaints    

13.1 The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd takes pride in the quality of its service and as such  

will try to resolve any complaints as quickly as possible.    

13.2 Complaints about any aspect of The Northern Beauty Co. Ltd should be made in  

writing by emailing enquiries@thenorthernbeauty.co.uk  

13.3 Complaints received in writing will be acknowledged
